I have been practicing Pureland Buddhism since many years in india. I am running a non sectarian Buddhist youth Organization in mumbai and has been spreading the teachings of Pureland since last 2 years.yes the teachings are very approachable. I wish this will certainly create a space in heart of Indian youth. Hope we might have the same desire to be together for the promotion of Pureland in the land of lord sakyamuni Buddha (India) My best wishes are with you. Accord. to the link below, if one puts his faith in Amitabha, his salvation is questionable per Shakyamuni & suggests Medicine Buddha & his pure land in the east in case we don't make Amitabha's. I would be in your debt if you would explain this to me.
